School Dinners

Kyushoku, or school lunch is a strong tradition in Japan. And the kids are encouraged to take initiative and leadership in helping set up each day for the lunches. These lunches are generally eaten in the classrooms.

I really like the way that the preparation and presentation are both important elements.
The photo shows the children involved in the delivery of these meals with aprons and hats. Great idea!
