Rid of Rubbish

Walking around Kiyomizudera is a wonderful way to experience Japan. There are so many chances to take happy snaps of young ladies in yukata/kimono. You feel you have the best ever temple shots and the exercise from starting point to finish is solid!

But perhaps on this visit to Kiyomizudera my favourite selection of shots were of the cleaners organising the rubbish. How typically Japanese. And how clean the temple is maintained.

The weather was very hot – 32 degrees.

Luckily not much rubbish had been found so the baskets couldnt have been that heavy!
