Jumbo Parfait costing hundreds of dollars?? Now this is a challenge – has anyone ever tried one?
If so, how many people does it take to get through a jumbo size portion of trifle, in a pot the size of a vase?
Jumbo size parfaits
I wish I had had the courage to have gone inside the shop and clicked away at closer range – but I knew that I could not consume something so decadent ….. so had to settle for photos from the front window! But I think you get the idea! Also check out the price. Incredible. I am sure I could buy a months worth of dessert for that price at least!
Parfait in Japan is a popular dessert but this one ‘takes the biscuit’ – excuse the pun! It must be a dessert fit for teamwork – only in Japan perhaps!?

Oh no, more bad trends in Japan. This looks like a dessert-of-MASS-destruction, a carb-bomb! This does not bode well for all those skubby (skinny chubby) people with high blood sugar. And ouch, ichimanen+! That said, I’d eat one!
OH. MY. GOD. I have seen it all now. I’d got a bit bored of the ‘only in Japan’ mantra, but you know what, this is something else! How would you get it home, for a start? Secondly, whatever happened to the credit crunch? And thirdly: it looks mighty damn tasty!
thanks to all those who enjoyed $150 parfait http://bit.ly/Lx7UL today I have beetle jelly! http://bit.ly/tWtmU http://bit.ly/Lx7UL
