Another kindy bus in Japan – this time it has a Kewpie doll attached to the front.
The Kewpie doll has become an integral part of Japanese society as the logo of Q.P. Corporation‘s mayonnaise.
- Kewpie Doll
And this year is a special one for Kewpie. It marks the 100th year anniversary of the Kewpie Doll. I wonder what the creator would have thought about the Japanese craze for Kewpie 100 years on….. take a look at this commercial …. Kewpie keeps coming.
You couldnt eat pasta without kewpie.

Scary bus!
My friend’s daughter collects the place themed QP keitai straps. I found the eggplant one to be a bit scary, but I still get her one from where ever I go.

RT @KimonoBox: 100 years with Kewpie | kimonobox.com http://bt.io/32q How did Kewpie get associated with these products. Don’t think I can eat these products again without thinking of of that commercial, lol It maybe cute for the kids, but I don’t think I could drive w/Kewpie on my vehicle. Around here some people put steer horns on the hood of there vehicle. And during christmas people put wreaths or other festive things on their cars..

I like the idea of christmas wreaths on cars – it reminds me of the movies and how Americans dress the exterior of their houses – so nice !
