What a wonderful idea – kids on the job and in action learning situations to spark their interest in future career opportunities – Kidzania in Tokyo!
This looks serious business. The best bit is that the kids even get paid for their work here – in Kidzo money! – Real life situations, real life outcomes ? Wonderful – do they have to pay tax too I wonder?
Perhaps this patient has had a few too many parfaits?
How many teeth shall we extract?

Fantastic opportunities for the kids to try out a profession! There are about 70 different activities to try your hand at – so to speak!

Small amount of youtube footage – both pieces a bit noisy- but shows the queues for kids to enter the profession of their choice – the ambulance looks quite popular!
Tokyo’s Edutainment at Kidzania! There are also kids pretending to be flight attendants serving meals to other children. There are kid pilots working an advanced flight simulator. Too much fun!

Kidzania is also going to introduce two new jobs shortly. Kids will be able to try out astronaut life and football coaching. Excellent challenges – good for KidZania!
