I found this cute photo of Japanese dwarf flying squirrels the other day on Stumble Upon! We were working on some homework about endangered species and the Momonga came up online at just the right time for us!
So loveable – great shot – also searchable via flickr too. Actually you can see how these cute little faces can be morphed into Japanese anime….they have a look about them that can be compared to the previous post featuring anime from the 1940′s.
The internet and social networking sites has opened up a range of potential for research and sharing of information. Good and bad of course……
Anyhow, this particular squirrel is under threat from its habitat destruction. Hence, he fits in perfectly with our project for the weekend. Good find from Stumble Upon.
Here he is on youtube having a momonga massage!

Cute little buggers. Are they on a protected list yet? If not they should be,for cuteness alone. So good to see things like this, to brighten up anyones day. Larry,Curley,&Moeeee!

Yes, the video is a sugar glider. They are marsupials and are not related to momongas at all. Still super cute though, I have a pair.
