Summer greetings are popular at the moment in Japan.
Some people typically mark the time of the year by sending a postcard or sometimes a gift to family, friends or colleagues.
After looking through online sites on shochuu omimai, I most enjoyed @dosankodebbie’s post on shochuu mimai called “etegami and the heat of summer”.
I used to have an etegami set myself – its a lot of fun.
Similarly, it looks like these girls were enjoying themselves with a dance for shochuu! Go girls – actually the outfits are cute but rather Xmasy looking – well that was my first impression anyhow …. but still looks energetic and ready for summer.

RT @KimonoBox: Straw Hats, Japan | Japan http://bt.io/94L I know who’s under those hats.
That’s you and your son, right? Can’t fool me. I’d like one of those, then you can say who can it be now? Yes that folded one would look great w/your Kimonobox movie costume, btw when’s the sequel coming out?
