Anime Bible?

Tokyo Anime Center recently welcomed the one millionth visitor through the doors! I was surprised to read that this lucky visitor was presented with an Anime Bible to mark the occasion! I wasnt sure whether this was a Christian Bible using anime or a special anthology of all things anime that was called a bible because it was so sacred in a different sense!

The Center has free entrance between 11 and 7p.m. most days and looks like it is a facility newly established in 2006 to provide live radio interviews with creators and voice actors and help support or organise merchandising fairs.

The website for this center is full of news and events in Chinese, Korean, English and of course Japanese.

It suggests that Tokyo Anime Center wants to be the

hub of Japan’s anime business, the TAC Secretariat represents a transmission outpost for information and exchange.

Perhaps the anime bible the visitors received was like this clip from youtube?
Looks like it was really popular in the 1980′s!
