Crafty Sushi Variety

I love sushi but was most interested to find that others love making a variety on fresh fish with felt, wool and icing sugar! Here are a few snaps of sushi like you might not have seen before!

Felt Sushi!
Felt Sushi!

Felt inari zushi from Kiirey – innovative and yum?! This snap shows the detail of the platter; pickled felt ginger
and baran (leaf decorations) – nice!

Knitted sushi platter – this must have taken quite a bit of work! NeedleNoodles has but together a great variety here. I like the look of that egg roll in the middle. Do you have a favourite?

Sushi dessert – who would have thought! This sushi was cooked up by oskay and is very colourful. Not sure what sushi purists would think about this! And I wonder what they used for wasabi?

A few more interesting ideas in these books about sushi and Japanese craft work. Enjoy!
