Love Calpis/Calpico water. I drink it whenever I get a chance to buy it.
Years ago, I bought a huge concentrated bottle of Calpis/Calpico water, and I guess it’s just not the same with Texas water. Hahah.
I’m amazed to see the price of Calpis Water being 98 yen in the photo.. It’s something like $3 and some change at the Asian Market I go to. I guess that makes sense after shipping and everything though.
Had no idea it’s been around since 1919, but then again, I guess I found out about sometime in the late 90s and have been drinking it since!

I,ve never had Calpis Water before, they don’t sell it here in my neck of the woods. I would like to try it though.
Yes, I love Calpis Water and drink it all the time – it’s definitely my favorite drink in Japan. 98 yen is a good price for 500 ml, normally 150 yen in vending machines. Good one ! I know what you get! but it still tastes good …. it often amuses us when relatives from the UK or Australia visit and we can get them to taste the fast reading Calpis taste!!!
