Interesting exhibition open at the moment in Shinjuku that remembers the wartime and post-war hardships for Japan.
Has anyone else visited this exhibition?
Although the Siberian winter was bitterly cold, the story has it that the owner of the lined jacket gave a Soviet laborer both sleeves in exchange for bread.
Understanding some of the suffering endured by family and or culture is a valuable lesson for us all. What a long way we have come and continue to grow and develop in some parts of the world and what a long way we have to go in other parts.
