Have you seen the Eporo Robots by Nissan? (Eporo is short for Episode Zero Robots)

These little robots were on display last month at the electronics trade show. The Eporo is a robotic car that detects obstacles and calculates their distance by bouncing laser light off them. Amazingly cool. Watch this little piece of youtube.
What do you think of a vehicle with sensors installed that could avoid obstacles …. this would no doubt help with road accidents …. ?
