This is my kind of house – a Ghibli design! If only all houses could be so pretty and welcoming!!
Of course the Ghibli museum is situated amongst greenery which is a great choice and perhaps unusual for a site in Tokyo considering land prices.
The museum was great to wander through … my only regret was that the cafe was so busy when we went, I had to eat afternoon tea outside …. but still it was lovely!

Yes, a long, long time ago with Suzuki Honami and lots of small children!
Basically the museum is in Inokashira Koen, you can walk there from Kichijoji or take a bus from Mitaka.
If you walk, it’s pretty much “follow the totoro signs”.
