Shoe Shop Miniatures, Japan

One of my favourite things in the kimonobox has been a miniature tea house I featured in a post in May. This miniature came in a kit and took an afternoon of glue and patience ( and nimble fingers) to assemble. It was a lot of fun to make and very rewarding. So many readers asked about the kit and where to purchase similar types of miniatures.

So I was quite pleased to find this miniature kit that was for sale … for those interested, through amazon.

It looks so beautiful and unique. I think I will order one and work on it for a gift for my daughter for Xmas perhaps. What an unusual gift – a homemade Japanese shoe shop!

Here is another view of the miniature shop.
