Bring out the Dolls

Mum loves the dolls. Every year they bring them out in the department stores and mum says – lets take a photo -写真をとりましょう!

I always smile! Because afterwards we go and buy a starbucks coffee. And sometimes we get a power ranger toy. Girls Day is celebrated every year on March 3 and each doll has a special place on the steps. Of course the top step is where the emperor and empress site. And the costumes that they wear are from the Imperial Court during the Heian Period.
