Personal success stories are always great to follow. I feel that whatever the culture or the country, if that person is successful in their life, there are often certain qualities that can be learned and perhaps utilised in my own life. This is certainly the case with Mr. Konosuke Matsushita.
The story of Mr.Konosuke Matsushita who developed Matsushita Electrical Appliances is quite an incredible one. He created a company that grew to produce household brandnames such as National, Panasonic and Technics. The company made this man Japan’s biggest yen billionaire! But Mr. Matsushita was much more than just a successful businessman. He was a strong inspiration to all those around him.
Some of Mr. Matsushita’s quotes are still applicable in today’s world. Two of my favourite quotes are the following:
Anything worth doing is worth 100%
Business is people
Do you follow these principles in life and business?
There is a museum in Osaka that honours Mr. Matsushita’s life and work. Next time I am in Osaka I would like to make this trip.
Another key legacy of Mr. Matsushita is the organisation that was established to fund research in the fields of humanties and social sciences. The foundation takes applications from students of doctoral courses and researchers within five years after finishing doctoral courses. Maybe this applies to you? If so you might like to follow through by clicking on the below photo for more information.
