I have blogged about it before but the Hokkaido Chocolate Factory is a great family fun activity.
The kids love it because as you can see it is hands on. You make your own chocolate biscuits.

I love the way that the Japanese make sure the attention is paid to detail and are eager to pass this on to the children through these kind of activities.
- Nothing was too much trouble
After cooking in the special kitchen …. which smells fantastic…. you are very hungry. And there is a perfect cafe, with hot chocolates, jumbo parfaits and cakes for tea!!
- What is that statue doing?
Hot chocolate at the chocolate factory comes is dainty cups with lids. And you can flavour it with orange droplets.
