<p><!--:en-->The Museum of the Future is one that my kids and I like to visit. It is a hands on science center that opened in 2001. There are exhibits on space exploration, robots and technology, the environment and the human body. There is also an interactive display on how the Internet works. Very cool!</p>
<p>There are all sorts of futuristic ideas &#8211; this car is not only electric but it has eight wheels! That could make parking in Japan a little tricky &#8211; but why not!</p>

<p>One of the most popular items in the <a href="http://www.miraikan.jst.go.jp/en/">Miraikan </a>is Asimo. A walking, talking, running robot. Asimo stands for Advanced Step in Innovative Mobility.</p>

<p>Despite all the futuristic technology on display, however, the kids still loved these fundamental science exhibits with the body pieces. Future surgeons??? Pushy mum!<br />
